Built around a single High Flow Series HF60-S cartridge, the ICE160-S helps provide consistent, high-quality water by reducing cyst, bacteria, particulate, chlorine taste and odor, and scale at flow rates up to 3.34 GPM — supplying your ice machine with the clean water needed to improve product quality and reduce costly service calls.

At the core of the ICE160-S is 3M's Integrated Membrane Pre-Activated Carbon Technology ("I.M.P.A.C.T."), a dual-zone media cartridge construction that combines a membrane in series with premium activated carbon for superior throughput and extended cartridge life. Built-in scale inhibition reduces the ability of calcium and magnesium to precipitate as hard scale on evaporator plates, protecting ice machine components from costly buildup and corrosion. The cartridge also reduces up to 99.99% of common water-borne heterotrophic bacteria via membrane filtration and is certified by NSF to Standard 53 for cyst reduction.

The Sanitary Quick Change (SQC) encapsulated cartridge design allows for fast, easy cartridge changeouts with just a 1/4 turn — no contact with the filter media required. With 1/2" FNPT horizontal inlet and outlet ports, the system connects directly or easily adapts to existing plumbing lines. As a real OEM water filtration system, the ICE160-S ensures equipment efficiency and safe water for your facility, built to NSF Standard 42 and/or FDA CFR-21 compliant materials.
