The Manitowoc AR-20000-P Arctic Pure Plus System is a complete water filtration assembly engineered for cube, flake, and nugget ice machines producing 601–1,000 lbs of ice per day. The kit includes everything needed for installation — filter head, cartridge, shroud, and mounting hardware — making it a turnkey solution for restaurants, bars, hotels, catering operations, and other high-volume foodservice environments running compatible Manitowoc ice machines.

Rated for up to 20,000 gallons, the AR-20000-P delivers ultra-fine 0.5-micron filtration that provides triple protection against contaminants that can affect both machine performance and ice quality. It reduces chlorine taste and odor by 95% on average, while a silver-impregnated carbon block provides antimicrobial protection against bacteria, algae, mold, and slime buildup on ice machine surfaces. SLOW PHOS scale inhibitor technology prevents scale formation and corrosion, protecting internal components from mineral buildup that shortens equipment life. The filtration also reduces submicron particles and contaminants such as cryptosporidium and giardia cysts.

Certified to NSF/ANSI Standards 42, 53, and 372, and CSA B483.1 by IAPMO, and approved by the UPC (Uniform Plumbing Code) for the US and Canada, the AR-20000-P meets the highest standards for commercial water filtration. Cartridges feature an easy quarter-turn locking mechanism, allowing for fast, sanitary cartridge changes "on the fly" without shutting off the water supply.

For best results, install vertically with the cartridge hanging down, allowing 2.5" of clearance below for replacement. Change the cartridge every 6 months or when the pressure gauge drops below 35 PSI, whichever comes first. Note: Arctic Pure Plus and Arctic Pure cartridges are not compatible with each other — confirm you have the correct system before ordering replacement cartridges. For commercial use; residential warranty is limited to 1 year.
